  1. The "Sceach" burial ground
There is another old graveyard in Knockbrandon. It is known in this locality as "the sceach."
It is also called Kilcorkey graveyard. This graveyard is about half an acre in extent. It is circular in shape and it is surrounded by a ditch. There are a large number of headstones in the graveyard but there are inscriptions on only a few of them. Two of the headstones are over the graves of two young fellows, John Doyle, and William Hanrick, who fought perhaps at the battle of Ballyellis in the year of seventeen hundred and ninety eight.
There are no ruins of any church in the graveyard.
It is situated on the land of Myles Byrne, and is about half a mile from any road.
