- 27 - 10 - 37.Hidden Treasure.Once upon a time there lived a lone a man in Tobergal. His name was Mr Murphy. He lived where Rossiter's walls are now.
When he was asleep in his house a little fairy man came to the door and opened it and came in and went by the stairs and went in-to the room where the man was sleeping and said to the man, "Good night, my good man." He sat down and asked the man would he take the treasure. The man said he would. Then the fairy man said that if he took it some of his people would die. "I will not take it" said the man. Then the fairy man said that he would stay with him.
The man said he would not take it. Then the fairy man stood up and said he would take him to it and the man went with him down to Knocknaskeough and they went in to a field and the fairy went over to a big stone and sat on the stone and the man looked around him.
When he looked again, the fairy was gone and the man went home. This happened in the year 1890, and it is said that the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
