turf they would do three or four hours work before having their breakfast at nine o-clock. For their table long ago they had a large bucket on the top of this bucket they had a skin. they teemed the potatoes into the skin. then the people sat around on chairs or stools and ate the potatoes. They drank butter-milk. When the skin is not in use they hung it on the wall. The bread they used long ago was made from oatmeal and they cooked it on a griddle in front of the fire. The people ate late at night long ago. Long ago the people did not drink tea, it was a treat for them if they got a drop at Christmas or Easter
When there were no cups the people used to get eggs shells and ribbons and hang them on a tree.
