  1. There are three forges in this district. One of them is situated at a crossroads.
    They have felt roofs with boards underneath.
    The fire is kept blazing by means of a bellows.
    The smith uses a knife, a rasp, a pincers, a hammer, and some nails, when he is shoeing horses or asses.
    People believe that the water in which the smith cools his tools is able to cure warts.
