One day, Willie Crowe was hunting in a field in St Mullins. He was walking across the field when he saw a hare; he had nothing in his hands to pelt at the hare; then he put his hand in his pocket and he found in it a lump of wax, and he fired the wax at the hare and struck her in the forehead with it. The hare was going out through a gap, he met another and stuck to her, and then he had the two of them.(continues on next page)
