    About sixty years ago there was a forge in Ballycrinegan...

    About sixty years ago, there was a forge in Ballycrinegan, the name of the man that owned it, was Kavanagh. One day a man came to him. He told him, that he had a very bad disease, and he asked Kavanagh, had he any cure for it, Kavanagh said he had. He told him to wash his face, with the forge water, that was in a tub in the forge, and he never had the disease since.
