  1. Preasagh is the most injurious weed that grows on our farm. It has a small leaf and it spreads along the drill. It prevents the crop from growing.
Blue-pot is used for curing children from eating cinders and mortar. It is a small plant with a blue flower. The roots are boiled in milk and the latter is drunk.
There is a story about how the dandelion got its name. Long ago lions were very plenty in Ireland. After some time this weed got very plenty. Every field and roadside were covered with it. It was as plenty as the lions were before that and then the people call it dandelion.
There are many weeds growing but I do not know their names. A small weed with a red flower is used for giving cows an appetite. It is boiled in water and given to the animal.
