- I live in Ballybrack in the parish of Borris, in the barony of St. Mullin's (Lower), Co. Carlow. The Irish name of the townsland is An baile breac. The following are the names of fields in it:- "Coobósh", "Mooneens", "Creteen", "Ratheen", "Malt House", "The long field", "Healys field", "Grove", "Charley's field", "Gormans bog" and many others. There are other names of places such as "Clodawn", "Clawsheen", "Gallow's Gap", The reason it is called "Gallow's Gap" because there was a man hung there. There is a townsland near it called "Barnahaskin", which means the "Gap of the Curse. There is another place in Ballybrack called "Clashahulla",
