Crumthann gave to Patrick for Fiach, the site of his church and one fifth of his father's possession to endow it and selected that church to be the place of his own sepulchure.
Patrick left Rathvilly for Ossory, leaving one the Ford at Lughtenbridge. Nearby in the Meat Field, Ballyknocken, in St Patrick's Well, where he baptised his converts.
