    Quite recently a man from Knocklishen, who had never heard the story of King Art, was sent to Rathvilly on a message. A companion joined him on the way home and as it was a beautiful summer's night, they sat down on the roadside at Mr Doyle's gate at Knockavagh. and after chatting some time both of them dozed asleep. They were suddenly awakened by the sound of a band playing beautiful music in the air over their heads, and the music gradually died away in the direction of Wicklow. Needless to say they made quickly for home where they recounted their experience, and where they told that they heard King Art
