A horse stands with his tail to the shelter in hard weather. When the cattle stand under a bush it is the sign of wet weather in the future.
When the sky is blue it is the sign of fine weather. When there is dust on the road it is the sign of fine weather. In wet weather you will see clocks and woodlice creeping. If the smoke goes up straight of the chimney it is the sign of fine weather, and if it blows back it is the sign of bad weather. If the fire does not light up well in the day it is the sign of bad weather.
