When a dog eats grass it is a sign of rain. When a cat turns its tail to the fire it is a sign of snow. When sheep gather into a corner it is a sign of thunder. When goats go to the fence or ditch its a sign of thunder for goats see the thunder before we hear it.
When its going to rain or snow, the black stares come down from the mountain to the valley. When the crows fly around cawing it is a sign of a storm. When the crows go home early in the evening its a sign of fine weather for they don't wait to get much food. When they go home late it is a sign that the next day is going to be wet because they are trying to get as much food as they can.
