- The Brick Field is situated in Kildavin on Redmond's land. It is only one field from the Clonegal road, and is situated at the back of the farmyard.
About forty or fifty years ago there was a pottery in Carrigduff, which is about two and a half miles from Kildavin in which they made bricks Some people say, that perhaps they got the clay in this field for the bricks. Others say it got its name because a couple of hundred years ago there were many limekilns on Redmond's land, and that(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
