Ar an leathanach seo

    caravans and coats and camp out on the roadside. The poor ones have no food with them, and they ask you for bread and bits of tea and sugar, but the rich ones have some food with them. They give you a clothe's brush or a jug for a cupple of jampots or flour.
    The poor ones travell on foot and the rich ones travell in carts or caravans.
    The most of them travell in families the "Dorans" and "McCanns" and the "Cashes" are the best known families in this district.
    The Doran family visit our district the most of any of the travellers.
    On the local Race Day the roads are thronged with travellers going up to the Race field. Some go walking, others in lorries and more in carts. The women sell oranges and apples, and the men have different sorts of games to play, such as the "Wheel of Fortune" and "throwing rings"
