The halter made of rope is given to the buyer by the seller to bring home the animal.
There is a great sheep sale in Roundwood every year, where nothing but sheep are sold and also a male sheep fair about the same time.
Up in Wicklow town there is always a horse fair and the folk of this district bring any horses they want to sell up there.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
