    The Bow-and-arrow is nearly gone out of fashion now, and so are the rag dolls.
    Long ago tricks used to be played on people coming home from playing cards to frighten them. Mr Long who is dead now scoped out a turnip, and put a candle lighting it, and put a man's cap on it, and stuck it on a piece of stick, and put a red jacket on it, and put it sitting in a bush, with a little wooden hammer
