Spirit! the Spirit! She swept him out of my hands. Now the thief in the corner of the graveyard ran when he saw the sheep he had, and the tailor was left alone.
The other thief was coming with the sheep, and the tailor thought it was Big Dan. "Are you there?" said he to the thief. "I am", said the thief, "Here he is for you". With that he left down the dead sheep. The tailor put a bawl out of him, and the thief knew the strange voice, so off with him helter-skelter, and he wasn't long going.
When Big Dan put the fright over him, he gathered a crowd and went to the graveyard and brought the tailor home safe.
