    Wrestling:
    The best wrestler was Mr Byrne of Coolboy. He wrestled at Varnavore also. He was champion of all Wicklow ansd Wexford.
    Walking:
    There was a man living round this district and his name was Mr Keogh, Ballinvalley.
    He had some business up in Dublin. He set out when the sun was rising about 2 o'clock a.m. and was home when it was setting in the evening. This happened in the month of June.
    Cures:
    Women in the olden times were supposed to be able to cure from certain herbs. These herbs grew out wild in the fields and people used to gather them and make them into medicine.
    Knitting:
    People long ago were great knitters and they were supposed to have spent most of their time in knitting
