Ar an leathanach seo
- There was a man in the townland of Doonmackiver one time, and he dreamt of a pot of gold that was hidden under a bush in his meadow. It was guarded by fairies and if anyone tried to steal it, the wee men would prevent them. Now he was very uneasy but before dawn the next morning he was out with his spade in the meadow where the pot of gold was hidden.
When he was a while digging he came to a stone and under the stone was the pot of gold. It was the custom that time that when any one would get gold he would throw a cat or a lamb into the hole for luck. This man was very much worried because he did not know any hiding place for it but he decided to bury it beside the house.
The reason he did this was that he could look at it when he liked. But one night when he was in bed, two men came to steal the gold, but when they were digging they saw a strange animal coming towards them and they did not(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
