- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)A henhouse is generally made of tin. In one side a roost is constructed, each plank being a foot or so above the other. The ground under the roost is generally cemented and this enables the farmer to clear it out without much bodily labout. On the sides of the house is hung the egg boxes for the hen to lay in. These boxes are generally made of boxes which are formerly used for conveying onions.
