- If a person is going to build a house he can find out if it covers a fairie's pass in this way. Turn up sods at each of the four corners of the Foundation, and attach notice of building intent.
If it be a "Pass" the sods will be turned up-side [?] in the morn. If not all is well.
It is said the house will fall if built on a "Pass" [?] wittingly [?]A whirlblast is the Good People passing from one Fort to another, [?](they say)[?]- Bailitheoir

Many say that people get what is known as a "blast". What they mean is this when opening or closing a gate a sudden and very powerful force like a strong puff of wind strikes them causing the mouth or other portion of the face to be drawn very much to one side.
This is called a "Blast".
I know 2 men who met with this Adam Brewster yet alive and Frank Moore (dead). There is a cure for this also. [?]- Bailitheoir
