    There were two old people living in Killleshandra, County Cavan about two hundred years ago named Mr and Mrs Reiney. He was a baker by trade where Eugene O'Reilly has the petrol pump now in the Main Street, Killeshandra. he did large business and he saved a wonderful lot of money. all the gold he took in he saved it up and put it in a hoxide. when it was full of gold sovereigns and half sovereigns he lided the hoxide tight. He then retired from business because of old age and he became quite simple. he got early one morning and he took the hoxide out of the house with him. he brought it to a bottom in the townland of Portaliffe, Killeshandra at the mearing of the Rectory land. He threw it into a large marol hole where it lies since unknown by anyone, he said
