My strong point isn't poetry.
But I have got these lines to rhyme,
As to how our co. Cavan team came up on
Top this time.
At the sounding of the whistle the ball
Went into gear
And the very first to get it was Jim Smith
Of killankere Verse 2
Brave Patsy Lynch played on the backs
And always cool and calm
With certainty when he got the ball
He placed it with his man.
And here is to Phair and Morgan, Jack
Smallhorn aswell
MacGovern from Virginia the boy to
