    At one time there lived in Ireland a great giant ; very powerful and a terrible fighter. His fame spread through all Ireland. men who ventured to do battle with him always suffered defeat. he was what you would call "a broth of a bhoy." Where could you find another man so strong and so terrible in combat? Nowhere! He was the cock of the walk and remained so for many a day. Eventually men returning from Hebrides carried news of a Mull giant, who was bigger, and stronger, and fiercer than the Irish giant. When they heard of the deeds of the Irish giant they laughed
