Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There used to come a woman round with a hood down on her face so that you could only see the top of her nose. The people used to call her the pooka and when she would think that nobody was looking at her she would uncover her face.
    The people used to keep her for a night or so but it was never found out who she was but it was expected that it was someone from the neighbourhood.
    In years gone by in the country districts many travelling folk used to call to the houses.
