- There is a hidden treasure in this locality in the townland of Corrooggie. It is supposed to have been put there by the faries. Attempts have never made to find it & it is a crock of Gold. One day a man named Thomas Brady was shoveling potatoes in field beside where the treasure is now buried. He came across a stone slab and on digging around this slab he found a crock of gold. He left this on the ditch until evening but instead of bringing it home. Just as he went in on the door he fainted and members of his(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
