  1. Mahers lived in the castle in Delany's moat field. This castle is knocked and the ruins of it are still in the corner of the field. This old wall is covered with ivy.
    Cooneys were the next people who lived there, but they did not live in the castle. They lived in the present house. The Mahers were no relations of the Cooneys.
    Delanys are living there at the present time. The Cooneys and the Delanys were related.
