- My District.
My home-district is Carrigmore, in the parish of Clogheen, in the diocese of Waterford and Lismore in the baronry of Iffa and Offa West.
In my district are the ruins of an old building called Kennel's Walls. Long ago two old ladies lived there. They were very rich as they owned an immense amount of gold.
They had a servant boy working for them. One day they called him to them and promised to give him a quart of gold if he would mind it dead and alive. Not understanding he swore to mind it. Then one of the ladies shot him and buried him with their gold.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
