- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)sixty years ago Pat Finegan said that they were rich and owned eight or nine cows. Two brothers and a sister lived there, though they were quite old when Pat Finegan knew them. They had a small piece of land down and Edinkilreavy. The sister used carry the milk up to Coolcair, when the cows would be grazing below she used carry one pail on her head and one in each hand. She had great big wooden dishes, scrubbed as white as snow into which she would strain the milk. When ready for churning the milk was poured into the churn. The dash was the only way of making butter then. Pat Finegan says he never saw so much butter in one churning before(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
