When calling goats, nanny nanny no glu glu. When calling sheep, baa, baa. Dogs cry, Bow Wow.

   To cure a cough.
   Boiled milk with a little butter on it or pepper.
   Gáug (cuts in hands) - Juice of palm tree.
   Oidhir - unsalted butter
   Burns - Keep part covered with flour, soda, or powder.
   Lamp oil.
   Carron oil is made from lime water and olive oil.
   Craos Galair- This covering on tongue and throat is found in bottle fed children who are allowed to suck teat dry.
   Wild fire = blood of the Walsh's last if both father and mother had name of Walsh. Also blood of parents whose names are the same.
   Ring worm = milk? applied
   Warts = steal a bit of bacon, bury it and as it is rotting your wart is disappearing.
