    Once upon a time there was a man living by himself in a little house.

    Once upon a time there was a man living by himself in a little house. He used to go out every night visiting the neighbors. One night as he was coming home very late, he had to pass a fort. He saw a lot of fairies. Some were dancing and others singing. The man stood watching for awhile.
    When he was gone a little bit away from the fort one of the fairies followed him and asked him to come dancing with them. The man said he would not because he has a long road to go home.
    The fairy was very angry with him and she said that when he
