I heard a story about a man who lived near Limerick.

    (continued from previous page)
go out to him. After a while he went away and when the man went out in the morning herding his cattle he found that a few of them were dead.
The next day the man went to the wood for sticks and he met a friend of his on his way and his friend said that he would help him to get the sticks.
It was very dark when they were coming home and as they were coming out of the wood they met the same man who would not let them pass. The two men blessed themselves and the ghost disappeared.
