   Old people say "Happy is the corpse that the rain falls on, sad is the corpse that the sun shines on." If you start your work on Saturday it is unlucky and they say it will never finish. If you change from one house to another on Monday it will be haunted. If you were going visiting and meet a man with a white horse on the road you should turn back or else you would have bad luck. Long ago when people would kill a pig they would throw a saucepan of his blood on the yard where he was killed and they would always have a pig to kill. My father told me that. My mother told me that when she was young on November Eve they used to get a key belonging to the nearest widow.
