  1. I live in the village of Shinnaugh in the Parish of Mayo. It got its name because of the big hill that is not far away from our house. "Shinnaugh" means "Breezy Hill".
    The great village was divided into three parts ( or smaller villages), namely Shinnaugh, Tenanaugh, and Monard.
    There are 25 houses in the village now, there are five in Monard, four slated and one thatched. There are four houses in Shinnaugh, two slated and two thatched.
    There are sixteen houses in Tenanaugh, eight slated and eight thatched.
    Our house was supposed to be an old school
