    sheep were killed but no lives were lost. It is said that there was a big rock in Lough Corrib and it was turned with the force of the great wind.
    In the year nineteen hundred and twelve a great drought occured. The was no rain all Summer which caused the grass to get dry and burn up. The meadows did not grow and there was no hay for the cattle in the winter.
