    Old Cows Days - are from the first of April to the third.
    It is not right to start work on the twenty -eight of December the day of the Holy Innocents.
    People do not turn wheels of mills on Saint Martins Day
    Some people do not give out milk on May Day
    They also pull primroses and put them up in the thatch before the sun would rise.
    People used to put in their cows Saint Johns Night because they would milk the cows and warm the milk at the Bonfire and give it around with loaf bread.
