    One November night Pat Loftus who lived in Roundforth...

    One Novembers night Pat Loftus who lived in Roundforth went out visiting.
    He was passing a Burying ground and there was a big tree on the side of the road. Pat looked upon the tree and he saw a big man jumping from branch to branch.
    The hair stood on Pat's head with fright.
    The fairy jumped down from the tree and said to Pat "Jump on my back and I will carry you to the Hill of Kilguire a bit above Roundforth and there you will see the King of Connacht and the King of Munster fighting. Pat jumped upon the fairies back and he was carried to
