“There was once a man who lived in America and he was very fond of card playing.”

There was once a man who lived in America and he was very fond of card playing. One night he invited all the card players to come to his house the next night.
On the next day he met a man whom he did not know who said "I am going down to night card-playing to your house.
When the time for the game came the stranger came in. It was not long until all the men were gathered and the playing started. The stranger played against the man of the house.
