  1. St Brigid. On St Bridgets day the people put up crosses in rememberence of St Bridget. On St. Bridgets night also the boys and girls go out in the Bridgeogs but they do not dress as good as the people long ago. St, Bridgets cross was supposed to be made in the year 795. A great many people put up St, Bridgets cross in the thatch yet.
    St, Patrick. St, Patrick's day is supposed to be a lucky. Nothing is told about St, Patrick's day only that the people put on the shamrock in honour of St, Patrick.
    Shrove Shrove Tuesday is supposed to be called by another name "salting Tuesday" because on
