- Travelling FolkTravelling folk are to be seen every day round this part of the country. Some of them are very poor.
Most of them sell small articles such as pens, needles, collar butts, balls of canpror and other small articles. They obtain their supplies in the town.When those come to a house they never remain a night at a time: they only remain while they are praying after they get alms of them usually pray after they get the alms. The alms which they accept are a saucer of flour a few potatoes a grain of tea or sup[?] a sup of milk. Some of them gather and they get two pence each for them.
