about three feet wide and a seoch a foot wide between every two ridges. The slits are put crossing the ridge about nine inches apart.
The potatoes are moulded about a month after been set. The seoch is dug with a spade. The clay is put with a shovel on the drill or on the ridges. They are sprayed twice or three times with bluestone and water.
