  1. There was a house in Co., Sligo near a fort. The fairies used to come in and out for things they needed and return them again. One day they were leaving that fort they were coming with silver delph into the house. Then a man came riding on a horse he asked where was her husband she said he was away Well tell him I am putting this horse in the stable and keep him until I call for him. The man kept the horse for a few months and reported him and got no owner, so he sold to the landlord for a few pounds. When they would take the delph in their hands they would break. All their stock died and they sold their farm and went away.
