    out. Condon was his name. Condon had a brother and he came to hear of it. He made up a plan to send a letter to old Ivers. When he came out he shot him and cut the tongue out of him. If ever revenge is taken on anyone in Cappoquin they say "He got Condon's quarter"
    On being asked in what century did he think Ivers lived. He said the 10th or 11th.
