  1. Herbs are generally found in fields, hedges or rough stony hills. Sometimes they are found in bogs and marshes.
    People should be very careful when picking them. They should make a thorough examination of the herb they want to pick.
    A dandelion, boiled in milk, is a cure for consumption and warts. Barbery boiled in milk and then drank is a cure for yellow jaundice.
    The yellow iris cures coughs and indigestion. The juice of it cures toothaches. Nettles cure nettle rash and rheumatism. Garlic cures diseases in cattle.
