- Once there was a man summoned for having his goat trepassing on other land.
He went to a solicitor, and stated his case, to him.
The latter told him to answer no questions but to laugh at every thing he was asked.
So the judge said that this man was silly, and dismissed the case.
The solicitor waited some time for his fee, and on not getting it he wrote him several letters, but got no reply.
At last he went personly to him, and Jack was sitting by the fire.
"Well Jack have you my money?
So Jack laughed, and he had to go off
with-out his money.
