Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Long ago there was a famous poet in Ballyshannon, called William Allingham, he was in the year 1824. He died in 1889. He wrote the following poems:-”Goodbye, Goodbye to Summer,” Wishing,” Up the Airy Mountin,” and “Adieu, to Ballyshannon.” On the bridge in Ballyshannon, there is a stone as a memorial with his name, birth and death. There are people living in the house he was born in. When he died he was sixty-five years of age. His poems are in a lot of school books.
