- (A) Once upon a time a man was invited to a wedding party. He ordered a new suit for the occasion. The night before the party the suit arrived, then the man discovered that the trousers were two inches too long. He was greatly annoyed and he told his mother and two sisters about it. In the evening the mother anxious to do a good turn went quietly up the stairs and cut two inches off the trousers. Then neatly hemming she put them back in the drawer.
