When there was no call for a table it used to be fastened against the wall. Oat bread was the kind of bread that was used. People used to sell all the butter. They used to kill the bull calves. The meat used [to] not be salted. They used to get plenty of fish in the rivers. There used to be special food for set nights. Tea used to be bought for that night.
