- This cure was told by my mother on the 1st of November. 37To cure the Whooping Cough the sufferer must crawl between a donkys fore-legs and hind legs, then climb over its back. This is done for three successive times on the same day. Then oat meal is given to the donkey to eat(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
