    Once upon a time there was a woman and man the kept three cows.

    Once upon a time there was a wom[?]and a man the kept three cows. One day the woman was in alone and a little fairy came into her and asked her for some butter to rub on her corns She said go away or that I have no butter to give you and the little fairy went out. When the man came in and heard the story he started to scold and for the rest of their life they had bad luck.
